Brett Yelland

Principal Videographer

I am a University of Victoria graduate who is based out of Vancouver, BC. My love for videography developed in my early teens through picking up a camera to shoot snowboarding videos with close friends. Ever since then it has been my passion and main focus.

While in Victoria for school, I found my skillsets valuable for starting up businesses with classmates and creating content for people I was connected to in the music and nightlife industries. From there, my vision expanded and I began to take on clients in a wide range of industries whenever I could. Starting out in the music industry shooting live shows, festivals, and music videos have proved valuable for me in being able to blend cinematic images with sound design.

Over the last few years, my work has been focused on creating content for growing and established businesses alike.

Whether it be a series of short social media recipes, or a five-minute introduction video illustrating a company’s story. Every business has different goals and values, and I often find that the most crucial step in the process is that there is a clear understanding between both parties of the vision before shooting. I pride myself on being able to make others feel comfortable on camera knowing that I have them and their brand's best interests in mind.
